Where is Bajamar located?

Bajamar is located approximately 18 miles north of Ensenada.  It is accessible via Scenic toll road, on Kilometer 77. Click here for a map.

What are the accepted methods of payment?

Personal checks, cashiers checks, and/or money orders are the accepted forms of payment.

How do I make a reservation?

Simply contact the home owner by filling out the web form under "Contact Us" section, indicate which dates you want to reserve and request reservation.  Home owner will then contact you to provide you additional information (if requested) and provide you mailing address for payment to be submitted. In order to confirm the reservation, half the rental amount must be received.

Why is a security deposit needed and what is the amount?

A $250 security deposit is required.  The deposit is required as collateral in the event property is damaged during occupancy.

What happens if I cancel my reservations - is my initial payment refundable?

The initial payment is non-refundable.  However, we will work with you to re-schedule your visit for another date and credit will be given.

Do you have special discounts for golf?

No, we do not.  The golf course is separate from the Bajamar housing development.  Owners are provided discounts but they are not available to their guests.  The golf rates, however, are very reasonable and there are a variety of rates broken out by weekday or weekend and time.

How close is the beach from the house?

The house is within short walking distance to the shoreline.  The Bajamar resort has several miles of sea shore but it is a cliff, pebbled area, without any sandy beach access.  The nearest sandy beach is approximately 3 miles north.

Are pets allowed??

No, pets are not allowed in the house.

House many beds are in the house and what size?

There are a total of four beds in the house, to comfortably sleep eight adults. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has a queen and a twin size bed, and the third bedroom has a queen size bed.

Does the house have air conditioning?

No, the house does not have air conditioning because the outstanding climate makes it unnecessary.  The cool Pacific ocean breeze maintains the house at a comfortable temperature.

Are there any pools and how close to the house?

The Bajamar housing development has two pools available to residents and guests.  The pools are managed by the Bajamar Home Owners Association.  The nearest pool to the house is 1/2 block away.

Is this a safe area?

Yes, the Bajamar resort is very safe.  It is a gated community with 24/7 security on watch.
